Summer Challenge
Every summer, readers of all ages can read, learn at the library, and complete challenges in the community to earn digital badges that can be traded for chances to win prize baskets. Everyone who earns at least 10 digital badges during the summer gets a prize. Find programs on our events calendar to earn more badges! The 2024 Challenge runs from June 15-August 26. 

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Parents with children under 6 can sign up and track how many books their little ones listen to between birth and kindergarten. Can you read 1,000? The more words a young child hears, the easier it is to learn to read when school begins. Log books with ReadSquared, or stop by a youth desk for a paper packet.
